Oak Class – 18/11/2020

This week in oak class we will be having some very different activities. Thursday will be a Viking day, children have been encouraged to bring in appropriate clothing (jogging bottoms, plain adult t-shirts, belts) to dress up as Vikings. We will be doing Vikingish activities too on that day.

Part of the week will also be given over to PE events for Koboca. These will include Kurling at the beginning of the week and Archery on Friday. We have loan of an archery set and will be completing the events during the day, weather permitting.

Children will be preparing for Thursday’s Viking day by making shields and Viking games boards.

In the few spare moments during the week we will be continuing with the four operations in maths and looking at differences in body statistics in Science, this will include collecting data and comparing it.

We will also be finishing off our narrative writing about Grim Gruesome.
