News from the Head Teacher – 4/10/2021
I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
As the weather gets noticeably colder, just a reminder that children need to be coming into school dressed appropriately. They need to have a jumper or cardigan with them and an outside coat. They now need to have long trousers rather than shorts.
Just to clarify; if your child is coming to school dressed ready for PE, they need to come with their warm jogging bottoms and jumper / hoodie. They can keep shorts in school ready. They can come into school with trainers only on the day/s they have PE. Other than that they are expected to arrive in their school shoes.
We are starting our annual collection for the local foodbank in Northallerton. All dry foods and tinned foods are acceptable and we hope you will continue your generosity this year.
We are having our Harvest Festival in church on Wednesday 20th October at 2pm. You are more than welcome to join in our celebrations. Reverend David Bartlett will also be taking part.
KS2 children will be competing in the cross country tomorrow ( Tuesday ) so we hope the sun stays out!
Children who took part in Dodgeball last week did well and really enjoyed themselves. Chloe deserves a special mention for winning a medal for showing her resilience!
