News from the Head Teacher – 29/6/2020

As we fast approach the end of what can only be called an unprecedented year, we are busy in school doing lots of things for the new year and finishing off the end of this term.

By tomorrow ( Tuesday ) we will have 22 children in school, being taught in three groups. This is working well and children are happy and keeping safe as we follow all national guidelines.

Mrs Beauchamp has now given out school e mail addresses to all children in school. You have also been asked to download the TEAMS App. Staff in school are beginning to use the app and by the end of the week will be putting next week’s work on it for children and parents to access.

We are intending to have an end of year Celebration Assembly. It is our intention to have it on the last afternoon of term. We are going to hold it outside, however, we will be watching the weather and should it prove to be impossible due to the forecast we will adjust it accordingly.

Mr Goodchild is also organising a ‘Sport’s Day’. You will not be surprised to hear that it will be different ! It will be based on a number of challenges that children at school and at home can do. Results will be converted into House Points. Watch this space !

As you will have guessed, we are unable to have a School Trip this year. Hopefully when we begin to see what the new normal is next year, we will be able to do something different.
