News from the Assistant Head Teacher – 20/04/2020
Stay at home
- Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
- If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home
Do not meet others, even friends or family.
You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
The extension of the Lockdown is continuing to test many of us across the country.
I reiterate some of the messages of the previous posts that any work your child can do is a bonus but that keeping your family’s mental health in a good condition is the priority in these trying times. This means keeping stress out of the home situation at the moment is really important. Children are all different and some will want to beaver away at some of the activities we have sent out and some will not. There will be no recriminations for children, or parents, who are finding these times overly trying and have difficulty completing any of the work or activities sent out.
The suggested work sent out is more than enough for the next few weeks and beyond and children can dip into it as they wish.
If you have not received any of the work and activities sent out and wish it to be sent again please contact your child’s class teacher.
If you wish to renew reading books or need any of the maths worksheets from the White Rose Maths website printing out or any others from the suggested work printing out, please contact me and I will do this and leave for collection at the front door of the school at an arranged time.
Many thanks for your patience and efforts during this tricky period,
Please stay healthy and positive,
